Designed by Jeff Tilden, the Sensory Garden offers a handicap accessible garden of the 21st century in a colonial setting. It has several water features, a melody stream, a "wind orchestra," and conversation areas. All planting are donated in Memory and Honor of people and pets.

The Living History Park was once the site of a water-works department and had been overgrown and neglected for years. Donated materials, labor, a few grants, and a great deal of love and attention have turned this eyesore into an attraction for visitors in a tranquil setting.
