Lake Thurmond Visitors Center
Located at the bottom of McCormick County, near the Georgia line, this Visitors Center is newly remodeled and has excellent interpretive exhibits about the lakes, dams, hydroelectric power and surrounding nature. Exhibits are both educational and entertaining, making this site and excellent stop for families!
