Visit historic downtown Saluda and discover the rich history of this small town. Begin your visit at the Saluda County Museum for a look at this community's past. Then, walk through the town and discover the county courthouse and its many monuments that highlight the rich military heritage of Saluda County. You'll also enjoy visiting the community theatre and viewing the mural depicting the signing of the 1755 Olde Town Treaty. For an added historic experience, schedule a tour of the Bonham House (home to Alamo hero James Butler Bonham) and Redbank church (where Bonham and William Barrett Travis worshipped).
