Oconee Heritage Center

Heritage Corridor Site

The Oconee Heritage Center is housed in the historic Tobacco Warehouse of Walhalla. The museum houses a Depression-era tenant farmer’s house, a virtual replica of Stumphouse Tunnel, and a 250-year-old dugout canoe.  The exhibit moves through the history of Oconee from prehistory to present day.  In addition to the museum, the center has a classroom that is frequently used by local businesses and social groups for meetings and functions.
