The Connection 

A Traveling Art Show
Celebrating the connections between Barbados, West Indies and South Carolina!

 Although separated by more than 2000 miles of ocean, artists from both South Carolina and Barbados have come together to celebrate and demonstrate their connections through art. We hope that you will explore the exhibit with both the historical and present day connections in mind.
We invite you to follow the exhibit through South Carolina and, ultimately, to Barbados in October 2008. Watch our website for more information on the October 2008 trip to Barbados for a unique cultural experience led by our wonderful friends from Barbados. There we will explore the history of the island through the venues of art, history, horticulture, genealogy, maritime history, agriculture and West African heritage. We hope you will join us!
