Old Time Fiddler’s Convention - Hagood Mill

Sept. 18 – Annual “Old Time Fiddler’s Convention” – one of the last such events in South Carolina and a good time for all with prizes for the top musicians in several categories. (10:00 – 4:00)
Additional music from local artists, as well as crafts such as gourd art, flintknapping, bowl making, spinning, blacksmithing, and more. Fresh ground cornmeal, grits, and graham flour from the stones of the 1845 Hagood Mill will be available. The Hagood cabin, the Murphy-Hollingsworth cabin, the moonshine still, and the functional 1890 cotton gin await your visit. Free Admission.
