Lifeways of the Cherokee Indians & Colonial Settlers

Date: April 10, 2010
Time: 4/10: 10:00am-5:00pm, 4/11: 10:ooam-3:00pm

This unique program features an authentic French and Indian War-era encampment of living history interpreters who portray Cherokees, soldiers, and settlers of the mid-1700s. Get ready to step back in time before the days of the Revolution, when the residents of backcountry South Carolina were Indians, a few hardy settlers, and the King's men who were trying to protect his subjects on the frontier.
